Things are finally starting to come together in the unveiling of my Organic Line. I just made a fresh batch of Orange,Vanilla & Lavender Bath Bombs and Rosemary-Lavender Bath Bombs, and they smell simply luxurious! I have quite a few local customers buying from me now and hoping to get up and selling online very soon.
I started this journey with my two beautiful girls in mind. It absolutely horrified me to know that I was bathing and lotioning them up with dozens of chemicals on a daily basis, not to mention the rash my oldest daughter use to get everytime she had a bath. (Ouch, such sensative skin☻) Here I was looking for the best natural and organic foods to start their early years. I even bought Natural & Organic Body Washes, Lotions, You name it, if it says Natural or Organic, it has to be. Right? Wrong....Oh so wrong!!!. Some ingredients are natural and organic and then there are those nasty ingredients that aren't so. Here are a few of my favorite shockers: Dimethicone-petroleum derivative, environmental toxicant, Glyceryl Stearate-weak skin,eye and lung irritant, Ceteareth-unsafe for use on broken skin, eye and lung irritant, Phenoxyethanol-endocrine disruptor and carcinogen in animals, linked to contact uritica and dermatitis. These are just a many, many few Non-Natural, Non-Organic, Non-Human ingredients in products we use on a daily basis. That just doesn't cut it for me, I want and need a natural, true to nature, cruelty-free product for my family. If I am going to be cautious of our food choices, then I need to be aware of all other possible carcinogens that are going on the outside of our bodies. I think of centuries ago when skincare was filled with milk, honey and oils. No Synthetics, Chemicals and False-claims. Just Natural secrets to radiant and beautiful skin , guilt free. I think we live in a society today that is so much more aware of our longjevity and health. We are more aware of our health and what is bad/good for us and truly do want the truth. We are going back to our roots of the old days. The simpler ways, when there wasn't as much pollution, crime. chemicals, false-claims and stress. We are planting gardens, recycling, making healthier food choices,donating, helping others, spending more time with our families and being aware of what is best for our bodies. We don't want additives, synthetic preservatives, harsh chemicals and unhealthy choices. I have become so much more Aware of whats important and whats not.
So this is where my journey began, after I read, researched, re-researched and re-organized my thinking on what I really expected and deserved out of a Natural And Organic Product. There are a few out there, you just have to read and read your labels and don't take the cover for what it says. So I decided instead to start my own Truly Organic Natural Bath & Body Line, with no false claims. It has been a long and wonderful journey. I have been able to start with the finest, most true to nature and freshest ingredients to start with. Not only have I been fortunate in finding superior ingredients, but also in supporting sustainable agriculture, fair trade and programs that fully support harvesters for fairness and equality. All of which are important to me in doing, which is a wonderful bonus.
I will hopefully be up and selling online soon and being able to share some Truly Natural Luxurious Bath & Body products with so many others. Everyone's family is just as important as mine . ♥
